Professional networking site LinkedIn, which has its second-largest user base in the country with 50 million members, said that as per its latest Workforce report for the fi rst half of 2018, industry growth rates were lower on average compared to the first half of 2017. While some industries such as education and legal showed high activity, others such as retail and entertainment showed a slowdown. Olivier Legrand, managing director, Asia Pacific and Japan, LinkedIn, said in India, more than 10 million new graduates enter the workforce every year and skills required to stay employable and relevant continue to evolve rapidly.
